Logan Paul: ‘I want to hug McGregor for 8 rounds next’

Box office written all over it

Logan Paul has identified Conor McGregor as the man he’d most like to hug for eight rounds next, Paddy Power News can exclusively reveal.

Internet celeb Paul singled out the 32-year-old former featherweight and lightweight champion after hugging the life out of Floyd Mayweather during his last contest.

New to Paddy?

Mayweather, one of the greatest boxers in history, squared off against Paul, arguably the second biggest YouTube personality in his family, in an eight-round ‘exhibitionists’ bout at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.

Despite boasting a record of 50 wins from 50 professional fights, Mayweather succumbed to Paul’s superior reach with the 26-year-old’s arms wrapping around his   body for the entirety of the contest.

Now Paul has his sights set firmly on MMA star McGregor and called out the Irishman in a video posted to one of his God-awful YouTube channels.

‘People said I’d get beaten like the 2007/2008 Derby County side when I signed up to fight Floyd’.

‘But you can’t get beaten if they can’t move their arms.

‘Look at these 76-inch pythons, Conor. I’m gonna hug you like Jurgen Klopp after a 2-2 home draw with West Brom.

‘So what ya gonna do brother? When the largest arms on YouTube run wild on you’.

‘And guys, don’t forget to hit subscribe and buy my merch’.

Upon hearing Paul’s call-out, McGregor responded in typical fashion:

‘Who the hell are the Paul sisters? They look like Jedward on steroids’.

‘Logan is so slow, I’ve seen sloths throw faster punches underwater.

‘That being said, I’m always on the lookout for my next lucrative farce of a fight.

‘So let’s give the people what they don’t want. Me and you, hugging it out in Dubai or Vegas for an obscene amount of money. Yeah baby’.

It’s understood the $100 pay-per-view event is likely to make your da say ‘boxing’s gone to the dogs’ every time he hears about it.
