How can you not love sporting perfection at its finest?


You know it’s the most wonderful time of the year when the World Darts Championship is just around the corner.

We can’t wait for the tournament to kick off on Thursday and we’ve got Planet Funk’s ‘Chase The Sun’ blaring in the office on repeat to get us pumped for it.

All the big hitters will be at Alexandra Palace – headed by world number one Michael van Gerwan, 16-time champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and current back-to-back world title holder Gary Anderson.

Rather fittingly since the first one by the legendry Raymond van Barneveld in 2009, there’s been a total of nine moments of darting perfection – the nine-darter – at the world’s best tournament. The feat is so rare only seven players have managed to achieve it!

So celebrate the start of the World Darts Championship – which runs until January the 2nd – we’ve decided to put every single one of them here for you.
