Who will win the US Presidential Election? Paddy Power odds for 2024

Biden or Trump?

2024 US Presidential Election

In a rematch of the controversial 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden v Donald Trump looks set to happen again when America goes to the polls later this year.

A country with a population of almost 332 million people seems likely to be stuck with a choice between two white men over the age of 75.

If people living in the UK thought their political landscape was bad, they can at least be thankful that there’s a different option for them this time!

Biden, the 46th President of the United States of America, is running for a second term as the Democratic Party nominee and is likely to face his predecessor, Republican Donald Trump.

Donald Trump shocked the world when he became President in 2016 and, it’s fair to say, his four years in office divided the country.

After time on the sidelines, he decided to run for the Republican nomination in 2024 despite being involved in a civil fraud trial in New York.

This hasn’t prevented him from sweeping aside fellow potential nominees Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley who have now withdrawn from the race leaving Trump as the candidate left standing.

His opponent and the likely Democratic nominee is the incumbent Joe Biden. Despite facing an initial uphill battle, the current president’s campaign for reelection has gained momentum as Trump faces a criminal trial after being accused of falsifying business records, which he denies.

The race is still too close to call with our traders pricing both Trump and Biden the same.

Of course, the winner could be someone entirely different. If something prevents either Trump or Biden from running then we could see Nikki Haley or a potential late surge from the former First Lady Michelle Obama.
