A desperately weak contest. On Lovers Walk is the form choice on his Limerick run ahead of the consistent Purse Price. The one to beat is sure to be CHARLIE BUCKETT who scoped wrong after pulling up when odds-on for a bumper here in November. A better opportunity in a maiden hurdle could be a long time coming.

It seems fair to conclude that HAUTURIERE needed the run at Cork on her seasonal debut. With a comprehensive Limerick win under her belt now, she can reverse form with Cork winner Silent Approach who has not had long to recover from a spirited effort against geldings at Punchestown last Sunday.

13:35 Allaho

As far as one can tell from two runs since returning from a long absence, ALLAHO retains enough ability and enthusiasm to win this race for a third time. He is 9lb ahead of last season’s Ryanair winner Envoi Allen on official figures and gets 4lb from that rival into the bargain.

There is no strong reason to believe that any of his three stablemates will beat him, and the admirable French Dynamite second here 12 months ago, is up against it on these terms.

14:10 Revelyn Pleasure

A really competitive contest. Emancipator is in decent form and go close even if 8lb higher than for winning at Punchestown. Battle Of Mirbat looks well capable of going close after two recent narrow losses, Ahead Of The Posse is very interesting on handicap debut, while Mount Frisco dominated at Tramore last time and could be very much on the upgrade.

At the opposite end of his career though, the veteran REVELYN PLEASURE is undergoing a new lease of life and is still well-treated. He can complete the hat-trick.

14:45 High Class Hero

With a flawless record since joining Willie Mullins, HIGH CLASS HERO is very hard to oppose. Easy Fella is an experienced second-season novice who may have improved sufficiently to reverse form with What Path who beat him at Tipperary early in the season.

15:20 Intent Approach (NAP)

All eyes here are likely to be on handicap newcomer INTENT APPROACH (NAP) and he is likely to take beating. Last month’s C&D winner Pakens Rock should feature again and top-weight Senecia could be well-handicapped on his best novice form

15:55 Ferns Lock

A wide-margin winner of this race last year, FERNS LOCK can repeat that success following a creditable Down Royal run against the smart Its On The Line, whose trainer Emmet Mullins provides the main danger in progressive Limerick winner Romeo Magico. As long as the going is not too testing Nice To Meet can make his presence felt.
