19:00 Tramore – Vintage Gold (Brian Flanagan)

VINTAGE GOLD was only beaten 12l in a Leopardstown maiden hurdle that worked out well on hurdle debut but he’s shown nothing twice since. While the quicker ground may not be ideal for him, he’s on a good mark for handicap debut.

19:40 Lingfield – Desert Falcon (Newmarket)

Down the field in his first two starts but DESERT FALCON fared much better when third of nine (behind two useful performers) at Chelmsford in October (6f). Gelded and had wind operation since. More to come this year and he’s been found a modest event for his return. Stable going well.

19:50 Stratford – Astroman (West Country)

ASTROMAN came into a C&D maiden last month as a 17-race maiden over hurdles (AW winner) but he won that narrowly (left ahead at the last) and followed up without much fuss in a Fontwell handicap (3m2f, good to firm). Only 5lb higher despite the penalty and something has clicked.

20:10 Lingfield – Inverinate (Racing Post)

INVERINATE was too free over 1m at Newcastle on his reappearance but dropping to 7f can help and the market confidence behind him last time looked significant.
