Plenty of dead wood here and few with genuine chances. Bold Approach has the best hurdles form but has looked limited of late and this looks likely to go to one of the three bumper winners in the field, ROYAL ROMEO preferred to Silver Breeze and Champagne Problem.

None too appealing as a betting medium but perhaps BACKING BAND can build on a shock maiden success last time, being one of the least exposed here on handicap debut. Likely dangers include Look Dont Touch, Swelltime and Romella.
18:35 – Ramondo Dnzeo
A maiden which may not take too much winning and RAMONDO DNZEO (nap) looks a solid option based on his recent third in a similar contest at Tipperary on this sort of ground. Gali Flight and State Of Fame hold place prospects, while Misty’s Gift is worth a look and Memorable Daise could improve for the step up in trip and cheekpieces.

A competitive contest with the likes of hat-trick seeking It’s Time Again, consistent Frazel Express and Must Be Dreaming all coming here in good form over hurdles and they all have chances. Only a half-length separated LADY ISEULT from bottom-weight Eaton Lady when they met at Roscommon last month, but she was value for more than that. Unexposed and progressive, she can take some beating here.
19:35 – Whiskey Sour
Some sort of question mark surrounding nearly all of these, but the most compelling case can be made for WHISKEY SOUR and he is taken to prevail. Off You Go might be the one to chase him home.

Ballinrobe third Finnthemagician and Closutton newcomer Unbridled Power might lead the market, while fellow newcomers Sean Og and Light Of Life are very interesting. A chance is taken that ENCANTO BRUNO might be good enough having cost plenty after winning a point-to-point in March.
