Thewaytothestars outperformed market expectation when a close third at Haydock on her stable debut and she may well have more to come for her new yard. GRACELANDS GIRL has been banging at the door though and she may finally be able to shed her maiden tag.

Winning is a rarity in this field, in fact most of them are maidens, but BOUNCING BOBBY scored on his reappearance and has continued to be highly competitive. Termonator (second choice), Uccello and Will He Dance might give him most to think about.
15:15 Challet
This looks very competitive, including for pace-setting duties. Slight preference is for CHALLET, who’s been in such good form this season, but with On A Session (second choice) and Gometra Ginty likely to provide serious opposition.
15:50 Poet’s Dawn (NAP)
This is a significant drop in grade for POET’S DAWN (nap), who hasn’t been at his best this season but was a close third in a competitive Class 4 race at Carlisle a week ago and remains very well handicapped. He won’t mind what the weather does here. Far From a Ruby comes here after two good efforts at Ayr and is second choice, ahead of Irv and Shine On Brendan.

Modular Magic is better than we saw here last time and he could well revive with a big run but MILITIA could be the answer. A multiple course winner, he ran well for a long way at Chester last time and although he can make the running, it isn’t a prerequisite. That might not be a bad thing with this likely to be run at a strong pace.
16:55 Isle Of Dreams
There was only a nose between Lord Of The Glen and ISLE OF DREAMS over C&D last month and the younger filly, who was mugged on the line on that occasion, may be able to turn the placings around today. Stroxx, Bridgetown and Mansfield look best of the rest.
