Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

15:05 Royal Ascot – Inverness (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

Made up a lot of ground to snatch a maiden win over 1m at Goodwood (good to firm) on his second 2yo start; INVERNESS has similar form when a never-nearer sixth of eight in Listed race at Epsom (1m2f, good) on reappearance, which he needs to build on in a major way having been withdrawn twice since because of ground (good and soft) that was deemed unsuitable.

16:20 Royal Ascot – Princess Zoe (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

Her extraordinary 2020 campaign featured a Group 1 victory over this trip in the Prix du Cadran; that and most of PRINCESS ZOE‘s wins have come in the mud but her excellent second in this race last year was on good to firm, as was her narrow Group 3 success here this April; looks set to deliver her best and that gives her major claims.

17:00 Royal Ascot – Thesis (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Beaten at odds of 3-1 or shorter in four maiden/novice events, at odds-on the last twice; maiden status has to be a concern in a race of this nature but THESIS wouldn’t be the worst handicapped of these on pure ability.

18:10 Royal Ascot – Tactical (Daily Mirror, Newsboy)

Won a Group 2 as a juvenile and 7f Listed race at Newmarket (good) on reappearance in 2021 but unable to find his niche at that level or in Group company after; TACTICAL never showed with a chance in 6f handicap at Newmarket on his return but has a squeak over this more suitable trip.
