It’s hard making cases for the majority of these. SKINFLINT might be the answer if building on his encouraging return at Uttoxeter and he’s preferred to Out The Glen with possible improver Eairsidh another to bear in mind.
Nicky Henderson’s DUSART performed to a very high level in his two runs in novice hurdles and he could be very good over fences. This looks the ideal starting point. Sail Away is marginally preferred to Barnaviddaun for forecast purposes.
Having bumped into a well-backed winner when second of four at Newbury last month, ONLY MONEY is taken to go one better today. It remains to be seen how Dreamsundermyfeet will cope with the drop back in trip but he is nevertheless feared most. Shanacoole Prince and Naizagai can’t be ruled out.
Jonjo O’Neill’s KILBROOK (nap) appeared to be idling when just holding on at Carlisle and he still looks well handicapped. The ex-French Family Business is interesting with his age allowance and Magic Dancer should also be in the thick of things if Daire McConville can get a tune out of him.
If Maskada can replicate her Bangor form from November then she’d be dangerous, but last year’s winner ZAMBELLA is the safe play. The selection is prolific in these races and has looked full of beans in winning her last two.

The Ryan Potter-trained Pittsburg landed a major gamble at Catterick last month on his first run since wind surgery and it will be extremely interesting to see how his stablemate and handicap newcomer Big Bad Buzz goes in the betting, having also had his wind tweaked. Maasai Warrior is another to monitor in the market but this could go to the very lightly raced 7yo GET BYE, who showed promise in novice hurdles and may not have handled the heavy ground when pulled up on his chase debut. Elkstone (second choice) and Celma Des Bois could also run well, while Happy News may be the type to benefit from the first-time cheekpieces.
