12:50 – Quilixios
This will be a great race to watch as Quilixios, Jeff Kidder and Teahupoo battle it out. However, I keep landing on Quilixios as he’s just simply the best horse. Henry de Bromhead has struggled slightly recently and he builds his horses up throughout the season but Quilixios should have enough.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:20 – Andy Dufresne
This is another where a few good horses go head-to-head. Captain Guinness, Andy Dufresne, Felix Desjy and Darver Star all have a chance but I’ve landed on Andy Dufresne for Gordon Elliott. He could catch the rest fresh and bolt home.

12:50 – Teahupoo
Gordon Elliott has won this race the last two years and his runner Teahupoo gets 4lbs off Quilixios and Jeff Kidder. Teahupoo was beaten 3l by Jeff Kidder in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 but Gordon’s runners are in great form and he might just be the sharpest at this stage of the season. Henry de Bromhead’s not really absolutely on fire yet, so would just watch Quilixios.
13:55 – Espanito Bello
Espanito Bello goes well at Naas and is very much unexposed with only 10 career starts. He won a bumper and maiden hurdle here and was 2nd to Court Maid off 128 in a handicap in March 2020 off a mark of 128. Court Maid was winning off 126 and is now rated 151 over fences. The likes of Anibale Fly, Enjoy D’allen and Mister Fogpatches were behind that day.
He was 4th in a beginners chase here last November with Group 1 winner Janidil winning, Longhouse Poet 2nd and January Jets 3rd. Espanito Bello followed that with a convincing win over Coko Beach here over 3m, with Longhouse Poet and Lord Royal also well beaten. He is rated 146 over fences and returns now over hurdles off 131 and would look to have really solid claims in a competitive handicap.
