16:55 – Rawyaan
RAWYAAN showed only greenness on debut but left that form well behind when scoring at Brighton last time, impressing with the way he finished the race despite still showing signs of inexperience. That form is yet to be tested, but Rawyaan is open to further improvement now and he is taken to get the better of Baileysgutfeeling, who has shown plenty in a couple of six-furlong novice events and should be winning sooner rather than later.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
17:25 – Galileo Glass
GALILEO GLASS landed a bit of a gamble in a first-time hood when opening his account on nursery debut in a big field at Doncaster last month, clearly well suited by the return to six furlongs, and he is taken to follow up now with this even longer trip unlikely to be a problem. Queen’s Heir got better with each run for Kevin Ryan and her opening mark looks a fair one starting out for a new yard, while Hollow Steel is another to consider as she bids for a hat-trick.
17:55 – Sows
SOWS fared best of those that were away from the favoured part of the track (and that raced prominently) in a strong Glorious Goodwood nursery last time. She started a big price that day but she is well bred and cost a bit as a yearling, so she makes plenty of appeal from a 2 lb lower mark in a lesser race here. Stablemate Desert has to enter calculations, too, but bigger threats may be posed by dual all-weather winner Adaay In Asia, who performed well on her turf debut at Newbury last month.

18:25 – Dulla Bhatti
The form of DULLA BHATTI‘s latest effort at Catterick, where he chased home the progressive Improvised, looks solid (both the winner and third won next time out) and, with further progress likely now pitched into a handicap, Michael Dods’s improving three-year-old is taken to come out on top. Hello Zabeel is also of interest now handicapping, but a bigger threat is likely to be posed by the hat-trick seeking Boogie Time.
18:55 – Zuhair
The most interesting of these by some way is the unexposed ZUHAIR, who has left his two-year-old debut form a long way behind with back-to-back wins this season and he almost certainly has more to offer now making the switch to handicap company. His opening mark looks workable and he can prove too strong for Arqoob, who is eased slightly in grade here and is next on the shortlist, while Star Shield is third choice and Fast Medicine shouldn’t be far away, either.
19:25 – Riches And Rubies
RICHES AND RUBIES has shown progressive form since switched to handicaps and looks capable of defying a penalty following last week’s breakthrough success when upped to this trip at Beverley. She appeared to relish the extra emphasis on stamina, comfortably on top at the line having been pushed along three furlongs from home. Flower of Scotland has done little wrong in her three starts this year and she can provide the main threat.
