We’re in for a treat this weekend as Aintree stages the first race of the season over the iconic Grand National fences.
The Grand Sefton Chase, a Class 2 handicap over 2m5f, is one of five renewals to be run over the spruce obstacles every campaign and is the feature at the track’s November meeting having been moved forward from its traditional December slot last year.
