Cheltenham November Meeting going, weather and results

Sure, it’s still early days in the National Hunt season but the road to the Cheltenham Festival intensifies this weekend as the November Meeting takes place at Prestbury Park.

There are three days of top-quality racing to enjoy starting from this afternoon and Paddy’s got his name on a whole stack of contests including the big one, the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday, November 13.

As of Friday morning, the official going is described as Good to Soft, Good (in places) on the Chase and Hurdle courses while the Cross Country course is described as Good.

The weather forecast looks encouraging with occasional light rain and temperatures of around 13C on Friday, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze with highs of 13C are predicted for Saturday, while a slightly cooler but dry day is expected on Sunday.
