It’s a tricky away tie and Waterford are -8 on the Handicap. Corrigan Park is a tough venue but if Waterford are going to challenge for League and All Ireland success, I’d expect them to cover the handicap. They’ve scored nine goals to date and I can see more coming.
This is a big game for both sides as the winner goes straight to a League semi final. Henry Shefflin is really going after the League and Darragh Egan has said he wants to win every match. Wexford were impressive when beating Limerick and against Clare the last time.
However, Galway have shown great intensity in their games and Salthill will be a difficult place to go for the visitors. I expect Galway to Win and they can cover the four-point spread on the handicap.
A re-run of last year’s All Ireland final where Limerick were comfortable winners at Croke Park and in the two other games where they faced off.
Cork put out an understrength team in this fixture last year but I don’t see that happening again – the Rebels will really want to test themselves against this Limerick side.
Limerick have lost their last two games and while John Kiely won’t be pushing the panic button just yet – he won’t want to lose three games in a row in such a short space of time. They set the standard for all other teams.
I think Cork will fall short again but they can use this game to set themselves up for their Munster Championship clash next time.
This game should be very tight and I’m not sure whether Limerick will cover the three-point spread. Limerick to Win anyway – not sure about covering the handicap.

Aaron Gillane looks to have his eye in at the moment and he’s my idea of the first goalscorer.
