Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff has publicly thanked the Mercedes Team CEO, Toto Wolff, for his three-year contract extension.
Having ended all speculation over his future by confirming he will remain in charge for a further three years, the 52-year-old was quick to point out the deal wouldn’t have been done without Wolff’s belief in Wolff.
“The conversation went well and agreeing a new deal felt like the correct thing to do” Wolff said to the national press.
“Toto is a tough negotiator but a great guy to work for, so I am happy to remain involved for a further three years.
“I outlined the financial package I was looking for and Toto was more than happy to allow me to have exactly what I wanted. He’s a brilliant guy, the best in the business and I really enjoy the relationship we have” continued Toto Wolff.
An onlooker who witnessed the entire thing gave his nod of approval to Paddy Power News.

“It was just him sitting in a ridiculously huge boardroom with a mirror for six hours, yet somehow, he come out millions of pounds richer than when he went in. That is how to get business done.”
With Wolff continuing to lead Mercedes from the front, he reiterated his belief that Lewis Hamilton can claim another World Championship with the team, while also opining that Andy Murray’s nailed on for Wimbledon, Tiger’s winning the Masters and and Man United are going to roar back and claim the Premier League this season.
Wolff, who is a co-owner of the Mercedes team along with new Red Devils shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, left fans bemused and wondering what dimension he lives in following the comments.
“With billionaire business owners buying up different teams across multiple sports, lines are getting a little blurred” said a European Sports Correspondent.
“However, we’ve got it on good authority than Wolff and Ratcliffe are looking to bring Guenther Steiner from the Netflix show, Drive to Survive, as the new Manchester United manager when Erik ten Hag gets the sack.”
When Approached for comment, the former Haas racing chief said: “Why would I join that bunch of w*nkers?”
Our correspondent also said Ratcliffe wants Steve McLaren to go the other way as his name is better suited to Formula 1.
