It’s Hungary in the world champions’ sights next as the pair meet at 2pm on Saturday in Budapest. A win for France would see them through so let’s see how many Emmanuel thinks they’re going to score.
Saturday 2pm: Hungary v France
France are always good when they play against adversity and the fact the stadium will be full is a good thing. Hungary will play in front of their fans and they have no choice but to win or at least get a point in this game.
But I predict France to win and finish the job of qualification to the knockouts. I don’t know which team Didier Deschamps will select. Probably there will be a little bit of rotation in some positions.

I’m very confident, not arrogant, but confident. I think the players as well will be fine. It’s not just the players on the pitch. When you look at the bench as well we have so many options, so much variety.
I think that will be a very, very interesting game for us but I predict a France Win because Hungary are probably the smallest team in this group. If we win this game we will be through and we can prepare for the next game. I’m predicting a 2-0 Win for France.
I want them to keep a clean sheet because the defence was a little bit disappointing for the last couple of months but when you look at the team they look very strong physically and mentally. I think Kylian Mbappe will Score Anytime and Karim Benzema will also Score Anytime.
