Burnley v Bristol City – Yes

Forget the glory, the game’s about goals. Well, that’s the case right here as I’ve gone through Satuday’s 3pm kick offs in the EFL to unearth a four-fold acca with a Both Teams To Score flavour. We start in The Championship with Burnley v Bristol City.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

The Clarets are ticking along nicely under Vincent Kompany and they sit 5th in the English second tier, two places above their visitors on Saturday, Bristol City. These two have scored a combined 33 goals in their 18 matches this season, conceding 25 along the way.

Both sides have netted in three of Burnley’s last four and it’s the same number for The Robins over the same timeframe. These two rank highly in terms Both Teams To Score? Yes clicking so there’s only one way to play here.

Norwich v West Brom – Norwich to Win & BTTS

West Brom have been massively underwhelming in The Championship this season and they sit 20th after nine games and face a daunting trip to second-placed Norwich at the weekend. The Canaries are one point off top and are on fire, now winning six on the bounce.

The Baggies’ biggest problem has been low-scoring draws with six such results already this season and both teams have scored in each their last five league games. Despite the away side’s liking for a stalemate, we’ll add some value by siding with a home victory here but, as West Brom have netted in eight of their nine games this term, we’re getting a cracking price on Norwich to Win and Both Teams To Score.

Fleetwood v Charlton – Yes

To League One now and a meeting of two of the sides with the division’s highest Both Teams to Score numbers, Fleetwood and Charlton. Despite both netting regularly it’s not done them much good, though. They’re 12th and 14th in the third tier.

Given that Both Teams to Score has clicked in five of The Cod Army’s eight games it’s surprising to see that they’re ticking along at exactly a goal a game and just under one conceded a match. The Addicks have seen both sides net in six of their last eight, including the last five on the bounce. It’s Both Teams To Score? Yes again.

Stockport v Harrogate – Yes

We finish in League Two with newly-promoted Stockport tackling Harrogate. County were pre-season favourites to win the league but they’re 18th after eight games, one place above Town.

Both have leaky defences, averaging well over a goal conceded per 90, and both have scored more than a goal a match as well. Both sides have scored in six of Stockport’s eight, while it’s only landed once for the Yorkshire side. But, given that Stockport have the second-worst defence in the league, we’ll side with Both Teams To Score? Yes.
