After another weekend full of footy action (and with a big Monday night game to look forward to), what could be better to round off the weekend than a Sunday night acca. We’ve checked the tellybox guide to pick out our best bets from Sunday’s televised fixtures.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

We start in France, where Kylian Mbappe’s PSG face a tough test away to Lille, league winners two seasons ago. There’s a double billing in Italy, where champions AC Milan travel to face an Atalanta side who narrowly missed out on European football for this season, and Marko Arnautović‘s Bologna play Hellas Verona, who finished ninth last season. Finally, attention turns to Spain, as Barcelona look to register their first win of the season as they play Real Sociedad.

Lille v PSG – PSG to win, Both Teams To Score

TV: BT Sport 2, 7:45pm KO

PSG have already hit ten goals this season, but both against teams that finished last season in the bottom half of the table, and this Lille side will be a tougher test. The home side are unbeaten in their opening two games of the season, winning at home and drawing away.

Last season, PSG conceded at a rate of over a goal a game, away from home, dropping points in nine of their 10 games, so are by no means as indomitable on the road as they are at home. But, in this fixture last season, the Paris side ran out 5-1 winners. We’re backing both teams to score (BTTS) in a PSG win, with BTTS coming through in both Lille’s games this season so far too.

Atalanta v AC Milan – AC Milan and Draw

TV: BT Sport 1, 7:45pm KO

After one week of action in Serie A, both sides are sitting on three points, and +2 goal difference, with a 4-2 home win for the Milan side, and a 2-0 away win for the Lombardy outfit. But last season, it was Atalanta’s home form that really struggled, taking just 20 points from their 19 home matches, with only four wins.

There can be no tougher test to see if that’s improved than current champions Milan, who lost just once and won 14 times on the road last season – including a 3-2 win in this fixture last season. It’s a difficult match to call, so we’re backing a double chance on AC Milan.

Bologna v Hellas Verona – Both Teams To Score

TV: BT Sport 5, 7:45pm KO

Someone is going to pick up their first points of the season in this fixture. The visitors could scarcely have had a worse start to this season, shipping five to Napoli in front of their own fans last weekend. Now they’re looking for a response against a Bologna side who squandered a half-time lead against 10 man Lazio last week.

Both teams to score came through in Bologna’s opening match of the season, and also in five of their last seven fixtures last season. For the visitors, they scored twice in the opening game, while Both Teams to Score came through in each of their last six away matches last season. Let’s bank on both teams to score this time around.

Real Sociedad v Barcelona – Lewandowski to score anytime

TV: ITV 4, 9pm KO

The home team enjoyed a winning start to the La Liga season, beating a Cadiz side that stayed up by a solitary point last season. Barca, meanwhile, could only muster a 0-0 home draw against Rayo Vallecano, despite the talents of their new number 9, Robert Lewandowski. They did have 21 shots in that encounter though, and you feel they wouldn’t be so wasteful on another day.

We’re gonna back the Polish striker to net his first goal for his new team in this match, he’s gone at more than a goal a game in the league for the past three seasons, as he accrued 344 goals in 375 games at Bayern Munich. So, the play is Robert Lewandowski to score anytime.
