Looking at the prices I’d be quite keen to back The Draw for a couple of reasons. Firstly I don’t expect many goals and that’s why The Draw is always a player. Since 2019, in all of Wales‘ competitive games, over 75% of them have seen Under 2.5 Goals.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

That’s why that’s a short price. But if it’s a low-scoring game The Draw looks a good price to me. There will be a lot of Turkish fans in the stadium, given where it’s being played in Baku. But Turkey have to travel from Rome for this game so those two factors kind of rule each other out a bit.

Wales got a great result against Switzerland the other day and as long as they avoid defeat they have a great chance of getting out of the group. So, for me, I’d be backing The Draw at the prices available for this match.

Wednesday 5pm: Turkey v Wales
BBC One, S4C and BBC iPlayer

If you watched Wales the other day against Switzerland they were really poor defensively from set-pieces, particularly corners. I mean it’s 1-1 with five minutes to go, they’re defending a corner and they haven’t got tall centre-backs. Gareth Bale is standing on the edge of the box rather than marking.

Breel Embolo scored the goal with a header from a corner and they just looked really venerable. Every time Switzerland had a set piece I thought they were going to score. That’s why, for this game, I think Caglar Soyuncu to Score Anytime is a really good price.

We’re all familiar with him with Leicester, but it’s just the fact that Wales looked so vulnerable on corners and free kicks. With him coming up from the back, it just looks a great price.
