Czech Republic v Belgium

Belgium are the world’s number one side in the rankings at the moment, and you can see why. Even though Eden Hazard is missing through injury, Roberto Martinez has his side going well at the moment.

Czech Republic had a good win during the week, however, I don’t think Czech Republic are good enough to tackle the likes of this Belgium side. In this group, you really can’t afford to slip-up. Belgium at odds-on is worth including for your accumulators over the weekend.

Tomas Soucek scored a hat-trick against Estonia and the West Ham man is playing well currently. He’s a monster price to do the same against Belgium here, and that’s not recommended! Romelu Lukaku is a price worth having in my view to net anytime. His international record is outstanding and he can improve it on Saturday.

Serbia v Portugal

Portugal grabbed a 1-0 win during the week. A scrappy goal, but they all count, and in these qualifiers, most of them will be very tight so any mistakes at all will be costly. Dusan Tadic was brilliant the other night against Ireland by Serbia. His delivery all evening was superb and he ended up being the difference in my view.

I think you can look at Both Teams To Score in this one. They did meet in 2019 and Portugal won 4-2 on that occasion. Portugal went off 6/5 on that occasion and they are probably a better side since that victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t on the scoresheet the other night, a rarity in itself. I’m not mad on backing a player for the opening goal at anything shorter than 3/1. We’re going to look at Bruno Fernandes to score anytime in this one, which is more value in my eyes.
