Leicester dealt Liverpool a massive blow in the title race with a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium over the festive period, but the chances of them repeating the feat on Thursday are slim to none.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have played just four games since that win at the end of December with two of those games coming in the FA Cup.
They were humiliated by East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest on Sunday, with Rodgers suggesting that some members of his squad have reached the end of the road.
Before that, they conspired to throw away leads against Brighton and Tottenham in the league, spectacularly going from 2-1 up in the 95th minute to 3-2 down two minutes later against Spurs.

They face a rejuvenated Liverpool side that has won four games on the bounce following a difficult festive period that saw them drop seven points in three games and hand Manchester City an almost unassailable lead in the title race.
Since their triumph over Arsenal in the League Cup semi-final, Liverpool are beginning to show signs that they are rediscovering their form.
They may also welcome back Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane from the African Cup of Nations and should have far too much for a stuttering Leicester.

Both Teams to Score
Leicester may be struggling, but they are still regularly finding the back of the net. They have scored in each of their last 13 games in all competitions, scoring three goals or more on six occasions in that 13-game spell.
Even when they were pummelled by Manchester City in a Boxing Day massacre, they managed to score three goals, while they also notched three goals at Anfield in the League Cup just before Christmas, albeit against a dramatically weakened Liverpool side.
However, they managed just two clean sheets in that 13-game run and have managed just four shutouts all season.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have scored the most goals in the Premier League and have failed to score on just two occasions in all competitions – in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final with Arsenal and against Leicester in that shock 1-0 defeat.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have not been nearly as solid defensively as they were at their peak two seasons ago and have conceded in eight of their last 11 games in all competitions, including home FA Cup ties against Shrewsbury and Cardiff.
Leicester may be in freefall, but they should come away from Anfield with a goal to their name.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are third in the disciplinary table with 29 yellow cards and one sending off in 22 games.
Leicester have received just six bookings in their last six league games, while Liverpool have seen nine players booked and one sent off in their last six games.
That may not be the most impressive disciplinary record, but it is important to remember that four of those bookings and the red card came in a particularly fierce battle with Spurs before Christmas, which is unlikely to be repeated on Thursday night.
There was just one yellow card issued when the sides met at the King Power Stadium in December and Thursday’s clash is likely to follow a similar pattern.
Over 12.5 Corners
Leicester have conceded a staggering number of corners in their last six league games. Rodgers’ side have faced 53 corners in their last six games at an average of just under nine per game.
They now face a Liverpool side that has won 48 corners in their last six games at an average of exactly eight per game.
There is no reason to think that Liverpool will fail to at least match that average on Thursday, especially considering they won 12 corners when the teams met back in December.
At the other end, Liverpool have conceded just 15 corners over the last six games at a rate of 2.5 per game, while Leicester have won 22 corners in the same timeframe at a rate of almost four.
Between them, the two sides have enough to win 13 corners or more.
