Paddy Power ambassador and Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has teamed up with our football trader Brian McDonnell once more to try and unearth some value in Saturday’s early game. Norwich head to Chelsea looking for their first win of the season and, well, it doesn’t look good for them.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Chelsea are probably going to be without strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner after both picked up worrying-looking injuries midweek against Malmo in the Champions League. Norwich can’t score for toffee and have plenty of problems, but where do the lads think the smart money’s going?

Saturday 12.30pm: Chelsea v Norwich

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

THOMMO: Norwich are in such bad form, they’ve only got two points. Having said that, the last two games have been 0-0 so Daniel Farke will be absolutely delighted that he’s able to keep two clean sheets.

Having said that, it was against Burnley and Brighton – but Brighton are sitting 4th in the league. They’ve only scored two goals, the least amount in English football, Norwich, so they’re not going to scare Chelsea.

It’s going to be, how many are Chelsea going to score? In midweek Jorginho did get a couple of penalties and I would fancy him in this game because Chelsea will have a lot of possession. They’ve scored 16 goals, there’s only Liverpool who have scored more on 22.

They’ve only conceded three. I’ve gone for a convincing Chelsea Win. Being kind to Norwich, I’m going 3-0 to Chelsea. Jorginho, I think, has got to be my goal scorer. He is on the penalties – I know he’s missed one or two – but he does take a fine penalty. So, I’m going to go for Jorginho to Score Anytime.

BRIAN: I’m going with Chelsea to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0. If I was to predict a score I’d say it would be 2-0 but we have the extra security of the 1-0 and the 3-0 in our bet as well.

Five of the six Chelsea win this season have been by 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0. So, this is one that I really like and it’s probably my best bet of the weekend actually.

Chelsea v Norwich tips

Thommo: Chelsea to Win 3-0, Jorginho to Score Anytime
Brian: Chelsea to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0
