France legend and Paddy ambassador Emmanuel Petit turns his attention to Hungary v Portugal in their Euro 2020 Group F clash on Tuesday evening. Petit won the Euros and the World Cup in his time as a player for Les Bleus and knows a thing or two about how to navigate major tournaments.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
His beloved France and rivals Germany are the other two teams in the group of death, Group F, so he’ll be taking a very keen interest in this match. Emmanuel actually fancies Hungary to do better than many think, but admits that they’ll probably come unstuck against the holders, Portugal.
Tuesday 5pm: Hungary v Portugal
The main player for Hungary [Dominik Szoboszlai] is not in the team [injured] and he was the magic player for this team. It’s like us [France] playing in the World Cup in 2002 without Zinedine Zidane, you know? It’s a big blow for them.
Portugal, you know, it is difficult to score against them. They are very hard to beat and this is probably one of the best teams they have of the last generation. This could be the last competition for Cristiano Ronaldo.

I want to see Hungary doing something but I’m pretty sure that Portugal will Win that game. I think it will be something like 2-0.
Diogo Jota, he’s one of my favourites. He’s clinical in front of goal and I love his movement all the time. For sure, Ronaldo, every time you ask me who’s going to score it’s for sure Cristiano Ronaldo to Score Anytime. I will bet on Jota to Score Anytime as well.
