Paddy’s football ambassador Phil Thompson is on the hunt for more winners this weekend and he’s not wasting any time, getting stuck into Friday’s game as Leeds travel to Wolves. Thommo’s expecting a good contest with the in-form Leeds to overpower the wavering Wolves. Here’s his preview with PPTV and his best bets.

MORE TIPS FROM THOMMO:

Wolves v Leeds

Leeds have been quite excellent, haven’t they? They’ve been the entertainers this season. Even in the 4-2 defeat against Arsenal they could have nicked something out of it.

Leeds are decent away from home and they haven’t had a draw in their last 14 Premier League games and it tells you that even if they’re down they’re going to have a go for it. They’ve won three of their last five away games and you can probably tell where I’m going with this…

Wolves have only won two of their last 10 in the Premier League and they’ve failed to score in three of their last five. They’ve only got two clean sheets in 17 and I think that tells you a lot.

Leeds don’t know when to give in – that might be a Marcelo Bielsa thing. I think he’s quite enjoying it. Wolves have been struggling and they’ve lost the identity that they had.

Friday 8pm: Wolves v Leeds
BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

The result that Wolves had against Southampton, you would have thought a draw was on the cards, but they turned it round, Wolves. But without Raul Jimenez you can’t see them scoring a lot of goals.

I think Raphinha is a great player. You’ve seen Patrick Bamford on the telly saying he couldn’t understand how none of the, dare I say, big clubs actually came in for him and they got him for a bit of a steal.

He is a talented player. He’s creative, he can score goals so I think when you’ve got that, and all-round they’re a hard-working side, it’s great. As I said they don’t know when they’re beaten and they keep going even at 4-0 down.

THOMMO’S TIPS: I’m going for a Leeds victory, I do fancy it. I do think Both Teams Will Score. I think Leeds will win 2-1. Patrick Bamford is in great form and I’m backing Bamford to Score Anytime.

Thommo’s Tips

Leeds to Win 2-1
Patrick Bamford to Score Anytime
