The Argentina defender was playing in his side’s 1-0 friendly win (I know, right) over Brazil in Australia, when in the dying moments of the game it seems he decided to take a chunk out of Gabriel Jesus.

The forward ended up in a pile on the floor as Otamendi leaped up for a header, and connected with Jesus with his elbow. Medical staff then took the Brazilian off on a stretcher, though it’s unlikely to be serious and more of a precautionary measure.
Though it seemed more Mr. Bean-esque than intentional, that hasn’t stopped City – and United – fans reacting to the defender giving their star striker a bashing.
