Ireland are bidding to become the first team in Six Nations history to win the tournament three years in a row.
While a Grand Slam was not achieved in last term’s rugby championship, the boys comprehensively retained the title and start as favourites, once again, after three wins from four during the autumn internationals.
France and England were the best of the rest in 2024 and will be hoping to get their hands on the trophy for the first time since 2022 and 2020 respectively.
Minnows Italy enjoyed their best-ever campaign, with two wins and a draw from their five fixtures, Scotland will aim for a better showing this time, while Wales are looking to bounce back from last year’s horror show.
No matter what, you can guarantee pubs will be rammed for the next month or so with plenty of fellas rocking the jeans-and-shoes combo.
