Tuesday 1.15am: San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action
The San Francisco 49ers are hoping to get back to their winning ways on Monday in Minnesota after suffering their first loss of the season and Brock Purdy’s first regular-season setback at the hands of the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings claimed their second win of the season last week defeating the lowly Chicago Bears. We have a bet builder to set up for Monday’s clash.
San Francisco -6.5
The 49ers will be looking to bounce back after their defeat last week in Cleveland. But as losses in the NFL go, last week in hindsight was just one of those days for the 49ers. Having to play without all pros Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffery, and Trent Williams at different stages while facing the best defence in the league compiled by missing a 40-yard game-winning field goal, it was just one of those days for San Francisco. Now they face a Vikings side who are struggling this season. Their win against Chicago wouldn’t have inspired a lot of confidence and they will once again be without star wideout Justin Jefferson which is a huge loss for the NFC North outfit. The 49ers have covered this spread in five of their last six games and I’d expect them to get back on track and cover the spread once more.

Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown Scorer
It’s a case of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Christian McCaffrey’s 15-game touchdown streak is tied for the second-longest streak in NFL history. He is a magnet to the endzone and gets every opportunity to find behind this elite offensive line. He is carrying a knock after last week but if he is passed fit to play expect him to score.
Brock Purdy Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes
Brock Purdy, the 49ers’ quarterback, does an excellent job of leading this offence. He doesn’t strive to be a hero or deviate from the plan. Rather, he simply accepts what the opposition defence offers him. Purdy benefits immensely from having so much talent surrounding him. In three out of six games, the Niners quarterback has thrown for two or more touchdowns. On Monday night, I’d expect Purdy to shine.
49ers to Score Over 25.5 Points
The 49ers could be without a few important players on Monday night, but the poor performance of the Vikings defence should not provide too much of an issue for them. San Francisco’s offence boasts several weapons and they’ll be looking for a bounce-back performance after being pretty much shut down all game last week. This week, however, there’s no issue with the weather and they should run straight through this lowly Vikings Defence. On Monday night, expect the 49ers to score a lot of points.
George Kittle Over 47.5 Yards
Kittle always brings his best in primetime. The former Iowa Tightend will expect to see a lot more targets this week as he wasn’t utilised to his full capabilities last weekend. His line is
fairly low compared to what he’s capable of. One only has to look back at his three-catch, three-touchdown 67-yard game against the Cowboys in his last primetime performance. Expect Kittle to show up. Take his over.
