As they look to rebound from their most recent defeat, the Cowboys will travel to SoFi Stadium to take on the LA Chargers. A 3-2 record so far this season after suffering losses to the San Francisco 49ers last week and the Arizona Cardinals in week three has the Cowboys chasing their division rivals Philadelphia early doors.
The Chargers have not performed as well as anticipated to this point in the season, and Monday night marks a chance for them to improve on a national stage. They currently have a record of 2-2 and after a bye week. We have a bet builder to set up for Monday’s clash.

The main reason the Cowboys are 3-2 so far this season is that their defence has been excellent. Star linebacker Micah Parsons is the catalyst for this team and I’d expect him to cause havoc on Monday. The Cowboys defence should be a challenge for the Chargers offence led by Justin Herbert. I also fancy the Cowboys to bounce back from their poor showing against the 49ers. Dak Prescott struggled last week against the best team in the league but I like him to get the job done this week. Dak Prescott needs to have a significant offensive game this week. Dak is under pressure to deliver after a poor performance last week, and to his credit he typically does that. He now faces a Chargers’ secondary that is also incredibly leaky. They rank last in the league in passing defence giving up 299.8 yards per game this year. He will go to the air early and often so we’ll take the Prescott Over 251.5 Passing Yards.
Dak Prescott Over 1.5 Touchdowns
As mentioned this Charger’s passing defence does not exude a lot of confidence. Prescott will be looking for big days from Pollard, Lamb, and Ferguson through the air. They will get plenty of opportunities to score in this contest and I’d expect him to go to the air in search of six points. Prescott Over 1.5 Touchdowns looks a smart play.

Austin Ekler Over 51.5 Rushing Yards
Austin Ekeler is the main weapon for the Chargers, and he will get lots of use now that he’s back in action this week. Leighton Vander Esch is sidelined this week so the Cowboys’ run defence might struggle to contain him. The Chargers will seize the opportunity and attempt to run straight at the Cowboys. As such, Ekler Over 51.5 Rushing Yards looks handy.
Austin Ekler Anytime Touchdown
To put it simply Ekler is and always has been a touchdown machine for the Chargers. He returns after his injury in week one and is primed to showcase his talents in prime time. Ekler comes off a season where he got in the endzone 18 times and continued that in week 1 this year. He’s a threat both in the run game and through the air. If the Chargers are in range Ekler will have the ball in his hands and I’d expect him to score.
