Calvin Ridley Over 66.5 Receiving Yards

If there is one man who will be looking to make an impact in London this Sunday, it is Calvin Ridley. The former Atlanta receiver was traded to Jacksonville last season while suspended and made an immediate impact on debut, making eight catches for 101 yards in Week 1. Since then life has been a little tougher for Ridley, catching just five total passes in losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.

However, despite these struggles he is still, clearly Trevor Lawrence’s favourite target with just under a quarter of his pass attempts this season heading in Ridley’s direction. I’d expect the Jags top pass catcher to comfortably cover his receiving yards line against an Atlanta side who struggled to contain the similarly skilled Amon-Ra St Brown last week.

Tank Bigsby Anytime Touchdown

A bright spot for Jacksonville so far this season has been the emergence of the wonderfully named, Tank Bigsby who, even as a rookie, is already displaying a nose for the endzone and a phenomenal understanding of his quite limited role.

Travis Etienne is, without doubt, Jacksonville’s top running back but Bigsby has been superb in short yardage situations. So far in his short career Bigsby has carried the ball nine times, picking up five first downs and a pair of touchdowns. If head coach Doug Pederson needs a yard he turns to his tank, and I’m backing Bigsby to find the endzone for the third time at Wembley on Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline

With Bigsby and Ridley providing a threat and Trevor Lawrence looking to make the leap into the elite group of quarterbacks I’m confident that the Jags can bounce back from a disappointing loss last week with their first win at Wembley since 2017.

Jacksonville possess a balanced offence and a defence that should be able to put consistent pressure on Falcons QB Desmond Ridder, and force mistakes. Only four quarterbacks who have played three games this season have fewer passing yards than Ridder and all but one of those has thrown for more touchdowns than the Atlanta man. Look for Jacksonville to get out to an early lead and never look back.

Bijan Robinson Under 64.5 Rushing Yards

Bijan Robinson is a prodigiously talented runner who has been talked about in glowing terms long before he was drafted seventh overall. Part of the problem he has had in his young career is that opposing sides are simply setting up to stop the Falcons running the ball.

NFL defences simply don’t seem to think that Desmond Ridder’s passing ability is good enough to beat them so they have extra defenders in place to stop the run, making Robinson’s job all that more difficult. Fellow RB Tyler Allgeier will also steal yards from Robinson, and is a talented player in his own right, with all that in mind I’m not confident in Robinson’s ability to top his 64.5 rushing yard line.

Under 43.5 Points

The London games present an unusual challenge to teams, who are not used to having to deal with such a significant change in timezones and, interestingly that seems to affect offences more than defences.

The points line is set at 43.5 for this game, a mark that none of Jacksonville’s last four international games have managed to beat and one that I think is too high again this week. The Falcons scored just six points last week and the Jags have managed 26 in total across their last two games, I’m backing the under.
