Week 15 kick-off with a bang in the NFL as the Los Angeles Chargers welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to SoFi Stadium in a huge AFC Conference match-up on Thursday night. Both teams go into the game with a bit of confidence as the hosts arrive on the back of wins over the Giants and Bengals, while the Chiefs have won their last six games on the spin.

Kansas City Chiefs To Win

This should be a really close game and it is a particularly tough one to call. That’s why I’ve decided to go for the Moneyline as opposed to looking at the usual handicap markets. However, the form of the Chiefs is why I’m siding with them. In fairness to the Chargers, they have been winning as well.

But, if you dive deeper in the home form of the Chargers, they’ve only beaten one team by a touchdown or more in their last five games and that was the struggling Giants last time out. That’s why I’m going with the Chiefs as they are on six game winning run, and they’ve been a little more impressive than their hosts.

Under 52 Points

My eyes just lit up when I saw that the points line was 52 on Thursday Night Football. I was very happy to see a points line that high because it’s been a trend throughout the entire season that Unders has been coming up, in fact it has happened in 75 per cent of the matches this term.

The Chiefs defence also fills me with optimism for this bet to come in, as they have been really good lately and have only conceded a total of nine points in each of their last three games.

Tyreek Hill Anytime TD Scorer

I really could have picked a number of players for this bet, but I have to tip up Tyreek Hill. He has grabbed eight touchdowns this season and he has had 75 or more receiving yards in four of his last six outings too. The touchdowns just haven’t quite been there in recent weeks, but that should change on Thursday.

I’m confident enough to back him to end that small dry spell here and he has a bit of form coming into this contest, after nabbing 76 receiving yards against the Raiders in his last game. He remains one of the most popular targets for the passes of Patrick Mahomes and I’m backing him to strike against the Chargers.

Patrick Mahomes Over 18.5 Rushing Yards

The fact that the line on rushing yards for Patrick Mahomes was 18.5 was enough to intrigue me. We know how good he is in the passing game, but the Chiefs could enjoy some success on the ground in this match as only the Texans allow more rushing yards per game on average than the Chargers.

That’s a significant stat, and Mahomes is averaging 20.8 himself per game this term, so this could be a close call, but he covered this in his last game and that’s enough to tempt me in.
