Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:55 Sandown – Etalon (Spotlight)
ETALON was fourth of 16 in the EBF Final here (2m4f, heavy) on his final start last term. Sent chasing this season, looking a natural on his first attempt at Newbury last month and following up that clearcut win with an easy dismissal of his only rival at Warwick (again 2m on soft). Current mark may well be lenient and he has stacks of potential.
14:02 Southwell – Love Your Work (The Punt)
LOVE YOUR WORK is a multiple winner who stays 1m2f so it was a positive run to be beaten only 2l over 5f at Wolverhampton where he caught the eye of the stewards. Has to be of interest.
16:05 Clonmel – Junot (The Irish Sun)
JUNOT is a maiden hurdler who went closest when just touched off in 2m4f Fairyhouse handicap last month on heavy. Flat-bred now tries chasing and could go well if taking to it.
16:15 Sandown – Copperhead (West Country)
COPPERHEAD is nothing like the force of old but has been second or third in four of his last five outings (tongue tied last two). None of those were on worse than good to soft but he used to go well on soft in his heyday. A possible for another minor honour but he has not won for four years.
