17:00 – WHIP CRACKER
Wide Margin and Silvaplana are newcomers of note but this looks a good opportunity for WHIP CRACKER to confirm the promise of his Newmarket debut.
17:30 – MY SAND BOY
Bluebells Boy (second choice), Last Date and Nemorum are three of the most likely to figure prominently at the finish, while there are changes with headgear, the trip and/or the surface for some of the others. A chance, however, is taken on MY SAND BOY building on the bit of encouragement he’s given lately when trying to come from off the pace at big odds.
18:00 – RIOT
Despite a moderate strike-rate Media Guest could go well having been first past the post over C&D in July, while the consistent Gulmarg is very likely to run his race again. However, this looks a good opportunity for RIOT (nap) to record another C&D success, having run so well to finish third back here on Saturday.
18:30 – ADACE
Preference is for Dean Ivory’s resurgent ADACE, who went very close in her bid for a double over C&D last time and remains well treated on her best form. The Crisfords’ 3yo Mysterious Maestro is feared most, although Doves Of Peace has claims on his step back up in trip and Cap D’antibes needs watching in the market on his return. Others who could be dangerous are Got No Dollars and Darker.

19:00 – CUBAN BREEZE
The in-form Onemorenomore will need things to fall right from the outside stall, although he is a player if they do, while Batal Dubai appears to have dropped to an attractive mark. Almaty Star is another to consider given his record on Polytrack, but the vote goes to CUBAN BREEZE who very nearly got up to beat a bang-in-form rival over C&D a week ago and races off the same mark today.
19:30 – TRADESMAN
Plenty bring reasonable each-way claims but TRADESMAN has found his niche on his last two visits here and seemingly has more to offer, so he gets the vote. Louaizeh is a less obvious suggestion than some for the main danger but she is a lightly raced 3yo and relatively unexposed, with recent performances and her family suggesting that she may raise her game over this new trip. She also has first-time headgear.
20:00 – UNIVERSAL GRACE
Katar and Tilsworth Ony Ta are both expected to give a good account but the two to appeal most are Erosion Risk and UNIVERSAL GRACE. It was a last-gasp success for the selection here four weeks ago but she still appeals as being ahead of her revised mark and she should find this being run to suit.
20:30 – LUNAR SPACE
his looks warm for the grade with class-dropping Marion’s Boy, unexposed Tujjaar, Come On John and Meadram all having something to recommend them. Swing To The Stars (second choice) has been threatening but LUNAR SPACE has found his form with a vengeance of late and can complete a quick AW hat-trick.
