Tipman Tips use a points system to track profit and loss. To calculate your point value, simply divide your monthly budget into 100 points, it can be done with any budget and any value, for example:
* £50 Monthly Budget – 50p Point Value *£100 Monthly Budget – £1 Point Value * £200 Monthly Budget – £2 Point Value
So, in practice:
12:50 – Royal Ascot Red Rum 5/1 – 1.5 points each-way (3pts total)
If you had a budget of £200 you would place £3 each-way on the example selection above (£6 total)
Golden Gal was a multiple winner here last year and looked to do most of her best work in the early parts of the season including winning fresh off a 200 day break, so there are no concerns with it being her first run back. Conditions should be fine as she looks to prefer a bit of cut in the ground. She should be ready to go and she’s younger than a lot of her rivals, so she has that scope for more improvement. If the wind surgery has had the desired effect, she’s a key player at a decent price.
Level Neverending was a decent 10th in the Pertemps at Cheltenham only 6l behind the winner but he probably found the three miles a bit too far, so this type of trip looks much more up his street. He’s dropped 7lbs from last time and he’s taking a huge drop in grade as well. Everything suggest that he should be right in the mix.
Ballybawn Belter is another who will be suited by the conditions and the drying ground. He won nicely off a mark of 106 two starts back and runs today off a mark of 110 with Charlie O’Dwyer’s claim. He has course form and the step up in trip looks a real positive based on pedigree. He should have a great chance at place money at the very least.
Gaelic Warrior looks solid but there is some serious questions about whether he stays this trip and with Willie Mullins’ other runner Embassy Gardens, there is absolutely no doubt. He’s been lightly campaigned this season and was a wide margin winner at Naas before running too freely in the Albert Bartlett before being pulled up. Danny Mullins takes the ride and if he’s able to settle better, he has a great chance.
A Dream To Share is a short price but it’s for a reason. We massively fancied him at Cheltenham before he duly delivered in tough conditions and this looks a weaker race. On top of that, the conditions will suit this speedy type. Next year’s Supreme favourite is fancied to take this nicely with the main danger perhaps being Tullyhill, who has been saved for this.
