15:40 – Unanswered

UNANSWERED ran really well on slow ground at Fairyhouse last time out and he won well at Cheltenham in November last year. The ground at Punchestown could be similar to his Fairyhouse run so it makes sense to get behind him.

16:15 – Sandor Clegane

This is a strong renewal and SANDOR CLEGANE brings Grade 1 form for Paul Nolan. I like him over the 2m4f trip and while it looks like it’s between Sandor Clegane and Three Card Brag, I’ll side with the former.

16:45 – Grangeclare West

GRANGECLARE WEST is Willie Mullins’ only runner in this with Paul Townend on board. He’s been a bit disappointing after his wins at Punchestown and Navan and I’m hoping he can put his best foot forward.

17:20 – Gaelic Warrior

GAELIC WARRIOR brings the strongest form and going right handed will suit him more than going left handed. I rode him the other morning and the step up in trip should help him. He should settle early on and he should have too much class for the rest of these.

17:55 – Galopin Des Champs

GALOPIN DES CHAMPS is in good form and all is okay at home. He was brilliant in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and he’s back to 3m here so the trip is slightly shorter. It’s right handed instead of left handed too and while Bravemansgame and Envoi Allen are interesting runners, it’s hard to go against Galopin Des Champs. He could be as good a horse as we’ve seen in a long time and maybe could end up one of the greatest horses of all time.

18:30 – A Dream To Share

Patrick Mullins has picked Tullyhill but he’s going to need to be rock solid if he’s going to beat A DREAM TO SHARE, who has won all four of his races. Tullyhill is a horse with a big future but A Dream To Share might be too good.

19:05 – Ha Dor

I’ve landed on HA DOR and I never thought I’d be tipping him up but the rest of these look exposed. It’s surprising there’s only nine runners though.

19:45 – Fun Fun Fun

FUN FUN FUN was very good at the Dublin Racing Festival and she sets the standard so I’m not going to oppose her.
