A good-class beginners’ chase in which FLAME BEARER could take plenty of beating on his first start for Willie Mullins. Journey With Me looks the chief threat, although My Immortal is respected on chasing debut.

On the back of a good second over hurdles recently KNOW THE GAME looks nicely treated back chasing and can get off the mark. Dangers include Hard Rain, Trans Wood and Added Bonus, while Padraic’s Choice is not one to rule out although he will have to jump better.
13:05 – Absolute Notions (NAP)
A very interesting novice in which all four of the likely players will appreciate this step up in trip. Gordon Elliott runs three, of which ABSOLUTE NOTIONS (NAP) gets narrow preference. Henry de Bromhead’s Inthepocket may prove the major threat.
13:35 – Impaire Et Passe
French import IMPAIRE ET PASSE has been found a good opportunity for his hurdling debut. Ideal De Ciergues is the one most likely to test him, though his stablemate Clodders Dream could also feature.

If making normal improvement from her recent return at Clonmel, RATHNALEEN KAL may be good enough to win in this grade. If forgiven their respective most recent runs, The Flying Spur, Read To Return and Be Fierce have credible prior claims. Yeah Man, who has been chasing, Slane Hill and All For Rachael have also shown mild promise.
14:35 – Halka Du Tabert
This can be narrowed to three serious contenders. Although likely to need further in due course, HALKA DU TABERT may prove too strong for Eabha Grace and Law Ella.
15:06 – Ceanndana
Not too many appeal but CEANNDANA could be the answer now dropped in trip. Brehon Star and Go Gill Go hold solid place claims, while Johnny Clarke could go well given improved jumping, and French Flat winner Pidoyne could yet improve on a low-key start to hurdling.
15:40 – Firefox
Fit from a decent first effort over hurdles FIREFOX could be the one to beat here, Loughlynn looking the most likely danger.
