Jeans Maite has four wins and three seconds from 11 starts over C&D following her recent 25-1 beating of Never Dark. There’s little to choose between the pair, on 2lb different terms under the same jockeys, but a 4lb rise sees her on a career-high mark and the vote goes to TWILIGHT MADNESS, who made it 2-2 over 5f when winning over C&D four days ago.

This looks open. SEPTEMBER POWER is highly respected under a penalty for her win over further here five days ago, while dual C&D winner Prince Abu should go well again provided he gets a solid pace to aim at. The maiden Sharp Distinction had three of these behind when just beaten at Kempton last time and is respected.
14:13 – Imperial Command
Plenty to consider, including Cliffcake, who’s 2-2 round here and represents an in-form yard, and possible front-runner Finery. Jilly Cooper hasn’t seen it out in her two runs beyond a bare 7f, so has that stamina to prove, and a chance is taken on IMPERIAL COMMAND, who’s back on his last winning mark, minus 7lb taken off by a promising apprentice who’s had four winners from his last nine rides.
14:45 – Dubai Immo
Although a record of 0-11 shows his limitations, DUBAI IMMO does have the best form and even his latest second at Wolverhampton has since received a boost. He won’t find many better opportunities than this. Thewaytothestars has shown some fair form on turf this year and hasn’t been disgraced on either start on Polytrack since joining this yard. luebells Boy has claims if turning out again.

The market should reveal if there is any confidence behind the newcomers, with Rebecca West and Tiffany perhaps the most interesting. Impulsive Lady has shown enough in both starts to suggest she is up to winning a race like this but she wouldn’t be certain to confirm latest Wolverhampton running with Ceanna. However, the choice is TOO MUCH, who made a promising debut when fourth over C&D a fortnight ago and any improvement on that would give her every chance.
15:55 – Reclaim Victory
Lord Paramount makes his handicap debut at a realistic level and is sure to be popular on the back of a breakthrough win at Wolverhampton. There are viable alternatives though and Tipperary Moon, Grangeclare View and RECLAIM VICTORY all have something to recommend them. The selection did well to get up over C&D 11 days ago and should find that this race is run to suit.

The 3yo WALKING ON CLOUDS readily made all over C&D last Friday and, with that being an apprentice handicap, he escapes a penalty today. Oliver Stammers remains on board and the pair can follow up. Camachess is another last-time-out C&D winner and she is feared most, ahead of the unexposed Bluebird.
17:00 – Marwari
2-2 over C&D and 3-4 in 6f Tapeta handicaps, MARWARI (nap) is entitled to have come on for his recent Chelmsford comeback from over three months off. The 7lb knocked off by Billy Loughnane, who’s taking his first ride for the Easterby yard having been on Fristel for his last run, is an obvious bonus. Solar Prophet, who offered more for his new yard here last Friday, having been gelded and when running in a sprint for the first time, is next best.
