This should be straightforward for GAELIC WARRIOR, beaten only a short head in the Boodles at Cheltenham on his stable debut. Timmy Tuesday has plenty of ability judged on his Cork third, but his antics at Punchestown are concerning, especially since he also ran out on his only point-to-point start. Ifiwerearichman and Littel Flour are the pick of the remainder.

Pat Doyle’s mare KNOCKANARD LADY had plenty to spare over Walk In The Brise at Cork and can uphold that form, though the margin is almost sure to be a lot narrower now, given that the Mullins mare was favourite on that occasion and that an excuse was offered. Gaoth Cheoil may prove best of the remainder.

Despite weak maiden hurdling credentials, it could pay to side with former point and bumper winner FONS VIVUS, in the hope that the addition of cheekpieces may do the trick in reviving her ability. Carrig Carol and Game And Glory have good claims on recent form.

It is difficult to oppose ARCTIC AMBITION reverting to hurdles off a 19lb lower mark than his new chase rating following his win at Thurles. Kilkenny Star and Cheerful Chap can give him most to do.
14:45 – Indie Belle
If INDIE BELLE can reproduce the form of her 24l beating by the 152-rated Darasso at Thurles last time then she will take stopping today. Kingston Kid and Who’s Houdini should be involved, while course hurdle winner Doyouthinkso could run well if staying.

Though still a maiden after 25 starts, WALKING THE WALK has posted three solid runs for his bang-in-form yard and the addition of blinkers might make the difference today. Recent winners Eddies Pride and Courting Vickie have to be respected.
15:45 – Cardamon Hill (NAP)
Better was expected of CARDAMON HILL (NAP) on debut at Punchestown and he can make amends for that reversal today. Mote Park was also a beaten favourite on debut at Cork but she can improve on that performance too. Tomas O Maille won’t be far away, while Walk Out looks most interesting of the newcomers.
