National Emblem and Mister Mister will have improved from their debut runs in stronger contests than this but SUBZERO has impeccable credentials and is taken to make a winning debut. He is entered in plenty of big races, so seems highly-thought-of.

14:25 – So Beautiful
Unplaced in a 6f maiden last time SO BEAUTIFUL is worth another chance on the basis of a Tipperary third which is working out well. If reproducing that form she should reverse Curragh running with Toriangel. A case can also be made for Touching Clouds who is dropped below 1m for the first time.
14:55 – Band Width
A poor run at Galway aside, BAND WIDTH (nap) has been consistent on his last four starts and can notch another win with a visor to help his concentration. Hypernova looks off a tough mark but could still be best of the rest.
15:25 – Prioritise
The McAuley yard does well in these contests and PRIORITISE could get the better of her stablemate Sister Lola on her second start for the yard. Girl Crush is rated 72 but competes off bottom weight, so has a strong chance in theory, while Chicago Lightening is consistent and can run well.
15:55 – Shawaf
Rated a bit higher on AW, SHAWAF looks capable of a first win on turf if improving just a little from last week’s Bellewstown third. That gives him an edge over Barnhill Rose whose overall form gives her a solid chance. Cherub Rock and Chimeric are worth considering on their respective second placings at this venue last time. Despite a high draw Rose Of Malta, who had no luck last time, is not without a chance for her in-form rider.
16:25 – Phoenix Open
Plenty with a chance but PHOENIX OPEN may get a winning turn having met some trouble in running when sixth here last month. He has a realistic chance of reversing previous Dundalk form with The Bog Bank who for her part may succeed in turning around last week’s Bellewstown form with Eastern Racer, up 7lb now. Course winner Zaur could feature, and Lifeinthefastlane is a potential dark horse with the champion apprentice booked.

17:00 – Inchiquin Star
The stablemates Super Cub and Sadiqaa both looked like this trip will suit when running on over 7f at the Curragh four days ago but this might come too soon. Stormie Outlook and Wooton Babble have squeaks on their handicap debuts, while Leabaland, Shona Mea and You Owe Me Money go well at this course. However, INCHIQUIN STAR is very consistent and could finally get off the mark after several solid efforts. Butterfly Island can run well also.
17:30 – Pahlavi
With her connections, Hermine is sure to attract plenty of support but it was an ordinary Kilbeggan bumper that she won on debut and PAHLAVI could be value to beat her. He showed much improved form to be third on his Flat debut at Cork and this trip will suit. Douglas DC and Zaynudin are of interest.
