15:50 Hamilton – Pride Of Yorkshire

Kind Spirit would have learnt plenty from his debut third at Chelmsford, but did look pretty awkward and I would like to oppose him here with PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE who just did a bit too much early doors at Thirsk. That should have taken the edge off him and if Kevin Stott can get him to relax early on he could take a significant step forward here.

16:05 Leopardstown – Lady Of Inishfree

Princess Olly has about 6lbs to find with the best of these, but it is early days for this daughter of Invincible Spirit and she could make LADY OF INISHFREE pull out all the stops. The Noel Meade trained selection swept through the field to land a valuable event last year at Naas and looks the type to make an even better three-year-old.

16:18 Hamilton – Alpha Cru

I thought that the David O’Meara charge, ALPHA CRU, was one of the better calls on this valuable Sunday Series card. This lightly raced daughter of Australia found the combination of fast ground and a mile against her at Doncaster last month. This step up to an extended nine furlongs combined with the easier ground and tougher track looks made to measure for the selection and she gets a confident vote over Myristica and Thunder Queen form the in form Richard Hannon yard.

16:35 Leopardstown – French Claim

Stone Age is rated top of this field in the Derby Trial Stakes, but the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th have all let the form down from his recent success since so it may be worth taking a chance on FRENCH CLAIM, taken to reverse last year’s form with Duke De Sessa in the Eyrefield Stakes. The further he goes the better this son of French Fifteen should be and he looks a fascinating staying prospect through the season.

16:48 Hamilton – Cassy O

This is just about the most wide open race on the card. The front running Mostawaa looks sure to be involved following a sound effort at Ascot against a well handicapped rival. Gweedore still looks on the upgrade for Katie Scott, but may not be able to give 5lbs away to the well treated outsider. CASSY O is back down to within 2lbs of his last win and looked badly in need of his seasonal return.

Hamilton

17:05 Leopardstown – Real Appeal

Only beaten three lengths in the Breeders Cup Turf Mile, this looks a cracking opportunity for the five-year-old REAL APPEAL to return to winning form on this easier assignment. Third in a Listed race over 10 furlongs last month, Patrick Sarsfield may benefit from this drop back to a mile and could stay on into the frame as his rivals flounder close home.

17:18 Hamilton – Huddle Up

Course and distance winner Soul Seeker makes plenty of appeal from his current mark, but may just be vulnerable to both Ayr Bronze Cup hero Call Me Ginger and the lightly raced HUDDLE UP. Dropping back from seven furlongs has been the making of this four-year-old and even a seven pound penalty may not stop him fro landing this valuable prize for the Barron yard.

17:48 Hamilton – Aasser

Plenty of strength in depth in this three-year-old sprint with the likes of River Price, course and distance winner Lethal Levi and Beluga Gold all respected. However, the Karl Burke trained charge AASSER could be just about the most progressive of all after a last gap win at Wolverhampton. This is his turf debut, but he is bred to appreciate both this surface and stiffer track and could still be well weighted off a mark of 85 from a good draw.

18:18 Hamilton – Uncharted

Emaraty Hero may need a stiffer test of stamina before returning to winning form despite a fair seasonal debut and may have to play second fiddle to UNCHARTED. A closing second in a big field handicap over this trip at Navan last time out, this stiff track should play to his strengths and he could prove too good for the Grant Tuer charge and the well treated light weight Grand Canal.

18:45 Hamilton – Magna Moralia

A small penalty may not be enough to stop Happy from following up his Beverley success, but the extra quarter mile may be a step too far. In contrast, this stiff 11 furlongs looks perfect for the John Quinn charge MAGNA MORALIA. The grey gelding fired up the final climb to win over a mile and a half at Pontefract and any further rain allied to a fast pace looks sure to see the five-year-old closing up the final climb against a whole host of runners with stamina issues.
