Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

15:45 Newcastle – Highfield Princess (Daily Express, The Scout)

Often front-runner; HIGHFIELD PRINCESS‘s four AW wins have all come over 7f at Chelmsford, including at Listed level last July which gives her an outstanding form chance in this race; not so good, after a break, in her three starts this year but her penultimate performance in particular still points to a leading role.

13:15 Lingfield – Red Flyer (Liverpool Echo, Chris Wright)

RED FLYER won over 1m4f on Polytrack in his first two starts this year and was only narrowly denied in hat-trick bid at Wolverhampton 17 days ago; up another 2lb but he has striking form figures of 122112 in last five handicaps and is open to further progress.

15:55 Chelmsford – Trawlerman (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

TRAWLERMAN needed the experience on his first two AW starts and then hammered a good horse over 1m4f at Pontefract; missed the kick and was never involved in Sandown’s Group 3 Classic Trial nearly a year ago, his final sighting; his top team has persevered and he returns gelded; market can guide.

14:35 Newcastle – Edraak (Racing and Football Outlook, Andrew Mount)

EDRAAK won over C&D in 2020 and, having posted three 6f wins in the first half of last year, he was back on the scoresheet at Kempton (7f, AW) in December; not quite at the same level the next twice but should get a suitably stronger gallop in this bigger field and he’s not ruled out.
