16:15 – Cregane Red
If all is right with Gallyhill he could outclass these but he’s had plenty of problems and CREGANE NED, who ran very well on chase debut here, is forgiven a poor outing when last seen and gets the vote. Bonarc is another to consider.

16:50 – Manitopark AA
Course specialist Quarry Lil should go well but MANITOPARK AA went close on chase debut at Wexford and, with improvement likely, is preferred. Another couple of mares that merit consideration on their first starts over fences are Cute Cherry and Kilashee.
17:20 – Carnet De Stage
Cases can be made for plenty of these and Whiskey Lullaby is sure to be popular for the champion trainer but a chance is taken with CARNET DE STAGE who had good form on a sound surface last year. Shes Some Doll and Clarabello both ran well last time out and make the shortlist.

17:50 – Liutenant Highway
A poor maiden hurdle and it is difficult to look past the consistent LIEUTENANT HIGHWAY, who was beaten 14l here last time on hurdling debut. Minella Youngy has the back-form to go well but has been poor the last twice and must bounce back. Bidentime was a surprising favourite for a Thurles maiden last time but disappointed and must also bounce back.
18:20 – Crossgales Ophelia (nap)
2m4f bumper winner CROSSGALES OPHELIA (nap) caught the eye when keeping on nicely at Naas and stepping back up in trip will suit. Fanoir gets a nice bit of weight from the selection and is a big threat.
18:50 – Le Fou’s Keep
There shouldn’t be much today between Tuckmill and Good Man Turk on their Naas 1-2 from last time and they are big players. However, in the second division of that same handicap, LE FOU’S KEEP wasn’t far behind two subsequent winners and this longer trip will suit, so she is the pick. Iridescent and Ruhm Und Ehre can run well.
19:20 – Polo Lounge
Cool Survivor brings a decent level of form to the party but is vulnerable to a smart newcomer. The market can be a guide as to the merits of Pahlavi, Westcoastinformant and POLO LOUNGE but Willie Mullins is running at an almost 33% strike-rate in bumpers this year, so his newcomer gets the vote. Point’ winner Top Speed is also respected.
