13:00 – Star Of Lady M
There was a lot to like about STAR OF LADY M‘s debut success at Redcar last week and she ought to be hard to beat. Beach Breeze can step up on his Brocklesby run and follow David O’Meara’s filly home.

13:40 – Emperor Caradoc
Bryan Smart’s EMPEROR CARADOC knuckled down well to see off a next-time-out scorer in a 6f soft-ground novice last autumn and may prove the answer to this tricky 3yo sprint. The ability of Oasis Irlandes to handle turf has to be taken on trust but he does have fitness on his side and has the rail draw so there are reasons to be hopeful and he’s the second choice. Tim Easterby having had two wins and five places in this contest since 2016 earns Bay Breeze a place on the shortlist.
14:15 – Fortamour
The suggestion is FORTAMOUR who ran well in a big field at Doncaster last time and is back to the same mark as when scoring over C&D last year. Follow Your Heart (second choice) promises to suited by the return to 6f and could be a big threat. The excellent C&D record of Mark’s Choice also brings him into the reckoning.
14:50 – Wots The Wifi Code
The durable Fairmac is likely to go well on his return, particularly if able to dictate, but preference is for WOTS THE WIFI CODE (nap), who made it 2-2 over this trip when readily seeing off a next-time-out scorer at Doncaster on Lincoln day.

15:25 – Galileo Glass
York novice winner Blenheim Boy represents a stable with a good record in this race. He may pose the chief threat to GALILEO GLASS who looks well treated off the same mark as when just denied at Windsor last Monday and can go one better. Government should also be on the premises if able to transfer his AW form to turf.
16:00 – Tamilla
This has been a happy hunting ground for the William Haggas stable over the years and TAMILLA, who showed plenty of promise at two and was put in the Oaks this month, is taken to receive the most of the weight she receives from Redcar winner Trojan Horse.
16:35 – Wizard DAmour
Challet readily made all over C&D last summer and would be dangerous if getting away on the front end but WIZARD D’AMOUR was ahead of him when second at Doncaster last month and the form has been boosted by the third winning since, so Karl Burke’s charge looks the most solid option with the step back up to 1m likely to suit. Empirestateofmind has done very well since blinkers have gone on and he’s also much respected.
