Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
13:00 Lingfield – Clifftop Heaven (Daily Telegraph)
More questions than answers. Leading fancies Cerulean and Melakaz are both going beyond 1m2f for the first time and need to improve for the stiffer test, while serial hard-puller Theonlywayiswessex returns from a break after undergoing wind surgery. CLIFFTOP HEAVEN is making his Polytrack debut for a new yard, so Battle Of Marathon, a three-time course winner who’s on a career-low mark, could be worth chancing back over a more suitable trip.
14:10 Down Royal – Pike County (888Sport)
Course bumper winner Ballycoose enhanced his reputation in winning his maiden hurdle at Ayr and appears to have been found a good opportunity to extend his unbeaten record. Drumbear looks more of a stayer and could make a bold bid from the front while Clifton Warrior has a chance if back to the sort of form he showed at Thurles.

15:30 Lingfield – Mummys Boy (The Guardian)
Luke Morris made the most of an awkward situation when forced to make the running on Cafe Sydney here last time but although his willing accomplice is still well treated this is a warmer race than she often contests. Preference is for MUMMY’S BOY, who acted well on Polytrack at two and looked ahead of his career-low mark when winning at Wolverhampton recently. Nuble defends an unbeaten record in this headgear combination but she had a slice of luck in her latest win and is up another 2lb. Semser will probably also need a bit extra.
18:30 Southwell – Prince Abu (Morning Star)
Metal Man and Denable look set to go well once more but PRINCE ABU will appreciate returning to Class 6 company and he could yet have a bigger effort in him over this trip.
Tuesday’s Lucky 15:
13:00 Lingfield – Clifftop Heaven
14:10 Down Royal – Pike County
15:30 Lingfield – Mummys Boy
18:30 Southwell – Prince Abu
