12:05 Doncaster – Veshenskaya (Steve Mullington)

VESHENSKAYA is on a good mark and was below form last time but still has plenty to prove.

16:20 Southwell – Louis Treize (Andrew Mount)

LOUIS TREIZE is on a losing run but has dropped a long way in the weights and attracted plenty of market interest on last week’s stable debut at Newcastle over 6f. Travelled well but didn’t find much but will be stronger back at 5f.

17:20 Southwell – Tom Collins (Morning Star, Farringdon)

TOM COLLINS is a 7f/1m winner on turf for David Elsworth but now looks in need of middle distances and shaped well at Wolverhampton 12 days ago when having first crack at 1m4f. Is 0-8 for current stable but he’s on a workable mark and unexposed at this trip so commands respect.

17:50 Southwell – Totally Charming (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

TOTALLY CHARMING has improved with each of his three runs for Denis Quinn, getting off the mark over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in July. Then sold for 18,500gns in October and gelded he took form to new level with impressive success at Kempton on Saturday (1m), powering clear in the closing stages. A 5lb penalty won’t stop him if in the same form.
