We’ve four races from Leopardstown on Tuesday as we get to see some quality action in Ireland on ITV as well as Catterick and Leicester on home soil.
13:10 Leopardstown – Tout Est Permis (each-way)
Former chaser Tout Est Permis is chucked in on old form and races for trainer Noel Meade in the first of the TV races from the Dublin track which is a Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle qualifier with the final to be held at Cheltenham next March. A wide-open affair as you’d expect, but the former Troytown Chase winner Tout Est Permis won’t lack for stamina and can hit the places for Meade who saddled the winner of the Paddy Power Chase on Tuesday. An each-way play.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
13:25 Catterick – Representing Bob
Representing Bob should get back to winning ways after finishing a solid second at Chepstow in a handicap hurdle. Reverts to fences having won two races over the larger obstacles before that last run and the step up in trip will suit also.

13:45 Leopardstown – Flooring Porter
Flooring Porter is hard to catch at his best but was a dual Grade One winner last season, including when winning the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. He won this contest last year on the way to that memorable win, but hasn’t completed on his last two starts. He has the back class to win this but will face a stern test from seasonal debutant Klassical Dream who won at the Punchsetown Festival last April, Ronald Pump and Abacadabras, who tries this three-mile trip for the first time.
14:00 Catterick – Findthetime
Findthetime looks progressive and got off the mark at Sedgefield in a Novices’ Hurdle last month. Steps up in trip now for Nicky Richard and jockey Brian Hughes and can go close in his first handicap.
14:20 Leopardstown – A Plus Tard
A Plus Tard should be different class after his demolition job in the Betfair Chase at Haydock. He’s rated miles higher than any of these and if in the same form as a month ago will take all the beating for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore who hit the bullseye with Envoi Allen here on Monday.
14:45 Leicester – Red Happy
Red Happy is an interesting import for David Pipe as he makes his UK debut over fences. Cost a few quid after winning his second chase start and the Pond House team will look to him to carry on the winning thread on British soil.

14:55 Leopardstown – Galopin Des Champs
We might finish ITV’s coverage at Leopardstown with another Willie Mullins winner. Galopin Des Champs signed off last season with a Grade 1 victory at Punchestown, having won the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ race impressively before that. Galopin Des Champs will be hard to beat if he transfers that hurdle form to the larger obstacles on his chase debut now.
15:20 Leicester – Natural History
Natural History can return to form if the ground is a bit better and Gary Moore’s yard is in fair form. He gets 9lbs from the top weight and likely market leader Lebowski and can put that to good use.
