Gordon Elliot holds the key to the juvenile division again and Fil Dor will be short odds but he should win. He dominated in his two runs this season and he’ll be raring to go.

Ahoy Senor seems to have Bravemansgame held on hurdles form from last year and couldn’t have been more impressive last time out at Newbury. It’s a match between the two on paper, but I fancy Ahoy Senor to succeed.

Good Boy Bobby was just chinned by a neck in the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle last time. He just didn’t get there over half a furlong shorter last time out, but can make amends now.
14:20 Leopardstown – Ferny Hollow
This looks a match between Ferny Hollow and Riviere D’etel, who has been hosing up. However, I expect Ferny Hollow to get the job done as he is more than special.

14:30 Kempton – Tritonic
A step forward is required for Tritonic in Grade 1 company after his impressive win at Ascot last Saturday in a valuable handicap. He’s a speculative choice, but I do think that the confidence-boosting win last time could be the key to him making progress this season.
14:40 Limerick – Vanillier
I’m going each-way on Vanillier, who’s the second string for Gavin Cromwell. I’m not sure there’s too much between him and Gabynako so I’ll take the bigger odds runner. I love the value!
15:05 Kempton – Asterion Forlonge
Asterion Forlonge may have won the John Durkan Chase at Punchestown last time but unseated his rider at the third last, when travelling well. It’ll be a heart-in-mouth watch but if he gets around, the race is made for him.
