11:45 Chiricahua

This could be a good chance for CHIRICAHUA (NAP) who has more experience over hurdles than most of these and he only found one too good last time out. French bumper winner Hawai Game is an obvious danger on his first start for Willie Mullins. Mary’s Pride shaped like she would appreciate a step up in trip when winning a Fairyhouse bumper on debut.

12:15 Majavango

Barncroft showed a bit more last time out, but preference is for MAJAVANGO – who has not been beaten far in his last couple of starts and should relish going back up in trip. Seegar is another who should appreciate the extra distance and Smash The Lamp has been running well in defeat of late.

12:50 Brandy Love

A pretty warm race, with the likes of Monas Melody, Broomfield Hall and Mollys Glory among others all capable of winning maiden hurdles. However, Willie Mullins is very strongly represented here with track bumper winner Take Tea a mare of considerable potential, But, preference is for BRANDY LOVE, a point winner with the best bumper form on offer.

13:25 Fox Le Bel

Not a race to have a strong opinion on, however FOX LE BEL looks to have the ability to win this off his mark. He jumped waywardly on his return at Cork last time, but the blinkers might iron that out. Presenting Lad shouldn’t be far away, while Tagg’s Island is mildly interesting for his new yard.

Eileens Boy and Falco Du Sauzay could go well, but Saga Aravis has to rebound from a poor run. My Boy Bob is worth a market check.

14:00 Gaillard Du Mesnil

A top-class novice hurdler last season, it is difficult to oppose GAILLARD DU MESNIL on chasing debut. However, he will have to jump soundly to score. His stablemate Capodanno could take advantage if he fluffs his lines, while Indiana Jones and Crosshill have the benefit of chasing experience and will be thereabouts.

14:30 Fou Diligence

A very weak race and the recent form exhibited by the likes of Rolling Revenge, Bellgrove and Brandy Harbour gives them leading claims. Without any confidence, a chance is given to FOU DILIGENCE – who has had two completed runs over fences and could go close off a 6lbs lower mark than over hurdles.

15:00 Nonbinding

A few of these look like nice prospects, notably Sir Argus who will probably come into his own over further than this and Killer Mode who has been running well in defeat in bumpers. NONBINDING may be the one to side with.

He was notably strong in the market for a deep race at the Punchestown festival and given that he was found to be coughing post-race, the half-brother of Ferny Hollow may be worth giving another chance to.
