11:30 Blue Lord
Paul Townend looks to have the perfect opportunity to return from injury with a winner in the shape of BLUE LORD, a classy novice hurdler last season who could develop into a very capable chaser.
Cayd Boy and Everglow, who have the advantage of a run over the Willie Mullins-trained selection, should be thereabouts at the business end, but El Barra appeals most to chase home his stablemate. Atlantic Fairy will be worth watching with a view to the rest of the season.

12:00 Stattler
Difficult to oppose STATTLER, already priced up as one of the leading contenders for the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham in March. He achieved a strong level of form last season and gets the nod to make a winning start over fences now.
Gars De Sceaux is his most intriguing opponent given how unexposed he is, while the Henry de Bromhead-trained pair of Ain’t That A Shame and Baptism Of Fire could show up well at bigger prices.

12:30 Samurai Cracker
This trip might be more suitable for SAMURAI CRACKER than the 3m over which he ran well in the Troytown at Navan and he gets the vote. Classy topweight Soviet Pimpernel has to be respected, but his jumping remains an issue while the market will be informative regarding fellow handicap debutants Millen To One and Fighting Fit.
13:02 Celestial Horizon
An element of guesswork here given several of these have yet to jump a hurdle in public, but CELESTIAL HORIZON makes obvious appeal on his Flat form, representing leading connections. He gets the nod over Britzka, who also has a favourable profile. Vocito and Scenic Look shouldn’t be too far away. Just Jacob, who showed plenty of promise on the Flat for William Haggas, is worth a market check.
13:37 Explosive Boy
Tony Martin looks to have a strong hand here through Sil Ver Klass and EXPLOSIVE BOY, with preference for the latter who boasts an unexposed profile. Peace Party has obvious claims, while We’ll Go Again could show up well at a bigger price. Reserves Kashi and Fox Le Bel would be interesting if getting in.
14:12 Wall Of Fame
Although disappointing when last seen at Listowel, WALL OF FAME is worth another chance after showing maiden-winning potential at Thurles last season. Hurdling debutants Hi Ho Phoenix and Dublin Calling represent other powerful yards and could be the main dangers.

14:47 Final Orders
A compressed handicap and FINAL ORDERS (NAP) can confirm Punchestown form with Ruler Of Dubai and defy a 3lbs higher mark. Course specialist Nicole’s Milan and strong stayer Glenabo Bridge can also contend.
15:22 Clairmc
Plenty with claims, but CLAIRMC caught the eye of the stewards when sixth in a maiden hurdle on debut and can show the benefit of that outing with a top amateur on board. The newcomer Liberty Dance appears to be the main hope for Gordon Elliott and the likes of Ottizzini and Skinnider have already shown a useful level of form.
