12:00 Blairgowrie
Another chance is given to BLAIRGOWRIE, who has been expensive to follow thus far, but should improve for this step up in distance. Second choice is Tigerbythetail, who also looks capable of progress. Get A Tonic takes on males for the first time, but she’s a major contender on form. Dan’s Chosen and Nothin To Ask are difficult to dismiss.
HELLO FROM PADDY POWER NEWS!
12:30 In Our Dreams
Recent course winner Quick Draw and the improving Mr Washington (second choice) are obvious players. However, an interesting alternative is IN OUR DREAMS – who showed clear promise over hurdles in May and looks open to progress now handicapping.
13:00 Flintara
Dorisa Queen may take some beating if handling what will be softer ground than at Stratford, but there are doubts on that score. Sent handicapping so soon, Doireann is one of her more interesting rivals. However, a chance is taken on FLINTARA, who was running okay over hurdles before not taking to fences last time.
13:30 Sail Away
The presence of the classy Call Me Lord means that the other seven runners are out of the handicap. The top weight could make a winning chasing debut if taking well to this new discipline, but he meets a compelling rival in Dan Skelton’s SAIL AWAY – who already has a solid recent run over fences under his belt. Master Debonair shaped well at Ffos Las and may prove the chief threat.

14:00 Kalzari
The key player here is the three-year-old KALZARI (NAP), who is open to improvement on just her second start for David Pipe and receives a big weight-for-age allowance on her handicap debut. Second on the list is Captain Moirette, dangerously handicapped on the pick of his form from two seasons ago. Ugo Du Misselot completes the shortlist.
14:30 Clondaw Promise
This is a warm handicap chase with several unexposed contenders, including Supervisor, who catches the eye at the foot of the weights, and Red Lion Lad, another chasing debutant with plenty of potential. Mille Sussurri’s Hereford second was boosted when the winner followed up at Newcastle, but slight preference is for CLONDAW PROMISE – who has taken well to fences and can continue on the upgrade.

15:00 Full Of Light
Several of these have the potential to be useful. Wolfspear (second choice) was impressive on his only start in bumpers and should be winning over hurdles in due course, as should Dan Skelton’s Cousu Main. However, the vote goes to FULL OF LIGHT, who shaped well considering his jumping to the left at Ludlow and could improve quite a bit.
15:30 Hidor De Bersy
Top of the list is HIDOR DE BERSY, who looked a winner in waiting when pulling clear with a useful prospect at Carlisle. He’s preferred to Jonjo O’Neill’s promising Anyharminasking with Crypto Currency, for whom there was plenty of money when fifth in a Sandown bumper, also respected.
