12:17 – Moriko de Vassy
Moriko de Vassy is bred to be a useful jumper, related to multiple winners, and he has made an excellent start to his career. He defied long odds to win a Doncaster bumper on debut and looked a useful prospect when making a successful start over hurdles at Hereford last month. He ran out a wide-margin winner at Hereford, impressing with how quickly he pulled clear of his rivals, and he looks up to defying a penalty.

12:47 – Oscar Elite
Oscar Elite might well have made a winning start over fences at Cheltenham last month had he not fallen three fences out when still going well. Oscar Elite took high rank over hurdles last season – he signed off with placed efforts in Grade 1s at Cheltenham and Aintree – and he remains an exciting prospect for chasing.
13:17 – Annual Review
Annual Review didn’t offer much in bumpers for Graeme McPherson but he has hinted at promise in a couple of starts over hurdles for Fergal O’Brien. Annual Review was the only runner to make any sort of impact from off the pace when third at Ludlow and he ran to a similar level when filling the same position at Taunton last month. He goes handicapping from a fair mark and could still have more to offer.
13:52 – Allmankind
Allmankind made it five wins from six starts over fences when landing the Old Roan Chase at Aintree in October, showing very smart form and a tremendous attitude in the process. Allmankind was conceding weight all around, but he dug deep to fend off his rivals and register a one-length success over Itchy Feet, with subsequent Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Midnight Shadow a length and a half back in third. There was another subsequent winner back in fourth, in the shape of Fanion d’Estruval, so the form is working out well, and Allmankind will take plenty of beating.

14:27 – Zacony Rebel
Zacony Rebel raised his game to get off the mark at Fontwell in October and that form is working out well, with the second and sixth both successful next time. Zacony Rebel has been given a fair opening mark and remains open to plenty of improvement after only three starts under Rules, so he makes most appeal.
14:57 – Presenting Nelly
Presenting Nelly made some appeal on paper prior to her debut at Uttoxeter – her dam is out of a half-sister to triple Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Best Mate – and she made a successful start, keeping on best to win a steadily-run affair. Presenting Nelly is in excellent hands with Dan Skelton and, entitled to progress for her debut, looks worth a crack at this sort of race.

15:27 – Aki Bomaye
Winning pointer Aki Bomaye showed only fair form in a couple of starts over hurdles last season but he shaped with more encouragement on his chasing debut at Worcester last month. Aki Bomaye kept on well in the closing stages of that two-and-a-half mile affair and he ought to improve for this step up in trip. He has only gone up 2 lb for his Worcester effort and can take advantage of that lenient mark here.
